Courses for 2016

As a chair, board member, chief executive, you may know that Good Governance is at the heart of a successful charity, but how can you be confident that you are following best practice and reducing the risks to you and your organisation? Our short-courses on Governance form a useful starting point.

If you are needing to recruit new Trustees or have new Trustees starting, then you will want to look at our Building your Board and Charity Trustee: Introduction to the Role workshops. You may feel it is time to review how you are doing as a Board, in which case our Reducing the Risk  might be timely. Please note we now offer a shortened version of this popular course as a Reducing the Risk (webinar)webinar.

As well as our accredited AIM Awards – Volunteer Management (Online course)  course we also offer two short courses:

Working with Volunteers: Getting it right from the start

Working with Volunteers: Legal considerations

These short courses will be delivered across the Midlands in 2016 . Dates yet to be released. To stay in touch sign up to our training updates

Cost: £35 pp

In-house Training
If you have a number of people who need the same training then we could deliver any of these short courses at your premises, at a time and date to suit yourselves.
